A: Our shop minimum is $100, and pricing depends on the size, detail, and placement of your tattoo. When you book, we’ll go over everything—pricing, how long it’ll take, and any other details—so there are no surprises. Keep in mind that tattoo time isn’t just the inking process—it also includes design, layout, setup, and aftercare prep. Even a quick tattoo takes extra behind-the-scenes work to make sure it turns out perfect!
The time it takes to get a tattoo varies depending on the size and complexity of the design as well as how well you sit. Small tattoos can be completed in a single session lasting 1-2 hours, while larger and more intricate tattoos may require multiple sessions spread out over several weeks. We will go over a tentative timeline with you when you schedule.
A: Tipping your tattoo artist at Wexford Tattoo Co is not strictly required, but it is certainly appreciated and considered a thoughtful gesture. By giving a tip, you are acknowledging their hard work, skill, and the time they dedicated to perfecting your tattoo, much like you would for other service professionals such as hair stylists or servers in a restaurant. Tips, which are generally around 15-20% of the total cost, are a small way to show gratitude for their exceptional artistry and service. However, it's important to note that if you choose not to tip, it won't negatively impact the quality of service or the professionalism you receive from the artist.
